Is there an open mic on Monday as well as Tuesday? How do you sign up for a spot on the play list?
Vincent Walsh (6/2008)- Birds of a feather flock together! The host appears to be either tolerant, ignorant or a staunch advocate of literary geniuses in the making that cannot get past filthy language. No alcohol served doesn't mean anything if they let BYOB- which could be anything in a brown bottle. The place reeks of liqour in the air.
blurpz (11/2007)-
Fun place, very supportive atmosphere. Friendly proprietor and the host is awesome. BYOB if you're over 21; good eats (if a bit pricey).
Sound system is a little lacking, but doesn't hurt the experience. Also, the stage is smallish.
clark (9/2007)- Yeah, very relaxed, nice vibes, nice sounds, nice folks. Comin' back w more friends. Check out the pics… allentown.craigslist.org/grp/225000390.html
Chris (10/2006)- This is the coolest place outside of a major city, period. No alcohol, but an eclectic array of healthy and vegan-inspired eating. The vegetarian chile is to die for. Two open mic nights both monday and tuesday. Tuesday really rocks!!! It is not uncommon for this open mic to go way past 1am, especially on Tuesday. This place brings together musicians from all over the bethlehem/lehigh university area and beyond. New York City and Philadelphia musicians are catching on to this place. The host, Bill, is extremely supportive of all the musicians and is especially welcoming to newcomers. 3 songs per set is typical. michelle, the proprietor, also displays local artists works for sale on the walls of the wildflower.
