charles lowe (10/2008): Moondog's is an intimate nightclub in Blawnox, PA (a town along the Allegheny River, 10 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh). We feature Local, Regional, and National Blues and Rock Acts. And we have been doing it for over 15 years. We've hosted Koko Taylor, A.J. Croce, Sugar Blue, Johnny Clyde Copeland, Monster Mike Welch, Chris Duarte, James Cotton and Keb Mo, among others. We believe in keeping live music alive and we do it all week long.
