- great time and a town full of talented musicans. It appears everyone had a great time and new talent has shown up as the word is spreading. Glad I went even after reading Mr Blacks review and will return, Thanks Coffee East.
Tom Deluca (11/2005)- dont waste your time here I was passing thru to the jersey state old home - thought I would check it out the big write up. No audience and the owner is to cheap to get a sound system they bum other peoples equipment. To make the night a total waste the host hogs the whole show and buts in on other acts and yet he cant even play a note on his harmonica or guitar… Save your gas and avoid this place.
art black (10/2005)-
The process of capturing live performance improvisation and spontanaeity on CD's is in progress. Saturday night is "Expresso Night"… when musicians bring their audience and express their perceptions of the truth with voice, dance and instruments of emotion.
There is life in the "Garden of Easton" on Maryland's Eastern Shore… "No Place Like it in the World." And Coffee East is a great place to be stimulated.
Asa Tibbs (10/2005)- Excelent Venue - If you are in the Greater WA area come to the Easton Shore's Coffee East Open Mic
(9/2005)-
Coffee East- A touch of Culture, a touch of class
It is great to see the Open Mic. back at Coffee East in Easton. Even though it was great last year, this year it seems even better. With some old faces, and many new, it has not only hit the ground running but is very likely to fly. The Plethora of talent that graces the small stage every Saturday night is a potpourri of gifted artists that will wow you with their creativity, showmanship, and style. The singers, musicians, poets, and supporters make Coffee East's open mic one of the better ones in the Delmarva area, and there are quite a few, in a rapidly growing movement of the arts that is sweeping the Rural Eastern Shore. To not go to one is to deny yourself a rare treat, and best of all the entertainment is free.
Here's your chance to see tomorrow's greatness on their way up the ladder of success at Coffee East.
